Revolve 09!

I'm headed out this afternoon to the Revolve All Access Tour in OKC. Hawk Nelson, Natalie Grant, Group 1 Crew, Krystal Meyers, Danielle Kimmey, Chad Eastham & Jenna Lucado are all going to be there! It's gonna rock! Revolve goes on tour every year with a new theme. It is a branch off of Women of Faith. It's geared toward teen girls (and their Moms!) and helping them learn about life, love, and God. Revolve uses music, drama, personal stories, videos and other creative avenues to address issues relevant to teenage girls today, including relationships with friends and family, body image and self esteem, relationships with guys, and faith in God. If you want to check this out, see photos, listen to podcasts or get more info check out www.revolvetour.com

Redeeming Ruth

I'm going to a bible study and we are having a 6 week series on the old Testament book, Ruth. The pastor of Mars Hill Church is pretty good and, I have to say, pretty funny. You can go there yourself and find out! http://www.marshillchurch.org/search/results?q=redeeming+ruth

Let me know what you think!

Which character are you?

My Daily Prayer

Proverbs 68:19 - Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation. Selah.

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day, I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and everyday to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And give the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement.

I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that don't believe. But I thank you that I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. Thank You that there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. In Your name, Amen

Franny Lyrics

Here are the lyrics to the song, "Behind the Scenes" by Francesca Battistelli. If you get a chance, check out the song for yourself.

Behind the Scenes

You may think I’m just fine
How could anything Ever be out of line?
I take my time To set the stage
To make sure everything Is all in place
Even though I’ve got the lines rehearsed
A picture only paints a thousand words

(Chorus)
Things aren’t always what they seem
You’re only seeing part of me
There’s more than you could ever know
Behind the scenes
I’m incomplete and I’m undone
But I suppose like everyone
There’s so much more that’s going on
Behind the scenes

Sometimes I can’t see Anything
Through the dark Surrounding me
And at times I’m unsure
About the ground Beneath my feet
If it’s safe and sound
When it’s hard to find hope in the unseen
I have peace in knowing it will find me

(Chorus)

You may think I’m just fine
How could anything ever be out of line?

(Chorus)

*What do you think?

New Computer...kinda

I got a new computer at work today! woo-hoo...except it was a hand-me-down...It works faster than the last one, so that is exciting. I hope it lasts longer, but I am concerned. You see, with the last one, I was learning patience on a daily basis. I think it did help, even though I usually went home with a headache...If you ever see me being impatient, please give me a reality check and remind me of my old computer that is now collecting dust.

Hello, all!

Crazy times! I've been sucked into the blogging world...oh, no..! I may not put up a blog really often but I'll try to keep you updated. I don't have anything to share right now except that I have a vollyball net and stakes in my car...weird. What strange things do you have in your car??
